For Nearly a Century, Thomas has Perfected Fine Jewelry

1969

Ibrahim Barhe begins his journey in gold manufacturing in Istanbul, discovering the artistry and traditional techniques that would shape Thomas Jewelers.

1982

Ibrahim opens a private retail store in the famed Grand Bazaar, where his son Thomas absorbed the craft and client experience at a young age.

1991

Seeking greater opportunity, the Barhe family relocates to the United States to expand their vision in a larger marketplace.

1992

At just 19 years old, Thomas establishes Thomas Jewelers in Wayne, New Jersey– the brand’s first U.S. retail location.

2004

Thomas earns both his GIA Diamond Essentials and Diamond Grading certifications, refining his knowledge and expertise.

2014

Thomas Jewelers relocates to the newly opened Jewelry Expo in Totowa, New Jersey.

2026

Thomas Jewelers launches its retail website, expanding the brand’s reach to clients nationwide and beyond.

Today

Joined by his wife Hana, sons Emanuel and Thomas Jr., and expert jewelry curator Julia, Thomas Jewelers continues as a family-driven luxury brand.
